Flood victims received donations from PRefChem Employees

The torrential rain in early January 2021 have caused major flooding in several states and Johor was unfortunately not spared from the effects of the heavy downpours.

Several communities in Pengerang were affected by the floods and had to seek shelter at temporary relief centers. The floods have also affected several of our colleagues in PRefChem.

In response to their plight, PRefChem in collaboration with Badan Kebajikan Islam Petronas, Pengerang Integrated Complex (BAKIP, PIC), had organised a donation drive to provide financial assistance to the affected communities. The donation drive which ran for two weeks
collected a total of RM12,700.

The donations were handed over to the affected families at Kampung Bukit Raja Darat on 30 January 2021 by the Chairman of BAKIP PIC, En. Azhar Ahmad and witnessed by En. Mawarid Zamzam, PRefChem Section Head, Stakeholder Management. A total of 88 families including our colleagues received the donations.

Thank you to all the generous donors in PRefChem. Your support and kind contributions have at least reduced some burdens of the affected families. Thank you again!
