As a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) Chemical Engineering graduate from University of Leeds, United Kingdom, Kabir holds 35 years of experience in the oil and gas industry under his belt. His areas of expertise are on Production Operations, Plant Operations, Process Technology/Engineering and Chemical Engineering. Kabir started his career in 1988 and progressed up the ladder to become the Head of Operations at Malaysia LNG Sdn. Bhd. in 2011.

One of Kabir’s career achievements was during his tenure as the Head of Gas Processing and Utilities at PETRONAS Gas Berhad. Under his leadership, the Company achieved numerous continuous improvement awards at PETRONAS and at international level such as Gold Award in ICQCC, Japan (2019), Top 20 for Manufacturing Sector & Top 10 for 5S/QE Sector, National Team Excellence Convention (AIPC 2019).

Prior to joining PRefChem, he was the Head of Manufacturing at PETRONAS Chemicals Group Berhad.
