Zackaria's illustrious career began 21 years ago at Accenture Malaysia. Throughout his journey, he has held various leadership roles in Operations, Sustainability and Quality, Health, Safety, Security & Environment (QHSSE).

During Zackaria’s tenure at Hengyuan Refining Co. (formerly known as Shell Refining Co, Malaysia), he successfully led the company to achieve the 2019/20 Prime Minister Hibiscus Award – Excellent Achievement in Environmental Performance (Highest Level) for demonstrating good governance in Sustainability Management practices through a robust ISO 14001 Environmental Management System. Under his leadership, the company also won for the first time in 2019, the winner of the coveted National Council of Occupational Safety & Health Award (NCOSH) – Oil & Gas Category

Prior to joining PRefChem, Zackaria was the Group General Manager, Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) at TSH Resources Berhad.
