PRefChem celebrates Chinese New Year with Pengerang communities
On 14 February 2024, PRefChem together with PETRONAS Refinery and Petrochemical Corporation Sdn. Bhd. (PRPC) and Pengerang Terminals (Two) Sdn. Bhd. (PT2SB) jointly organised a Chinese New Year (CNY) gathering with the Chinese communities in Pengerang.
PRefChem's Back to School Programme for Pengerang Students
On 27 March 2024, PRefChem organised a presentation ceremony for the Back To School programme at Dewan Sri Cendana, Kota Tinggi Education District Office (PPDKT). The symbolic event was attended by selected students and teachers representing the 331 recipients from 13 primary and 2 secondary schools around Pengerang. Each student received one set of school uniform, a pair of shoes with socks and a school bag.
Pieter Kuiken
Holding a Master’s Degree in Finance and Investments from Erasmus University Rotterdam, Pieter’s areas of expertise include treasury, credit, governance, risk and assurance, accounting, audit as well as change management. His impressive career journey started in 2009 at Upstream International, The Netherlands.
Pieter then assumed the position of Financial Controller at Brunei Shell Marketing in 2018, where he successfully managed the company’s finances.
Abdulrahman S. Al Faqeeh
Abdulrahman is a Bachelor Degree holder in Applied Mechanical Engineering from King Fahad University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM), Saudi Arabia with 29 years of expertise in the Downstream Oil Refining Operation and his extensive work experience includes operations, maintenance & engineering, affiliates, asset integrity, inspection and technical support managements.
M. Kabir Noordin
As a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) Chemical Engineering graduate from University of Leeds, United Kingdom, Kabir holds 35 years of experience in the oil and gas industry under his belt. His areas of expertise are on Production Operations, Plant Operations, Process Technology/Engineering and Chemical Engineering. Kabir started his career in 1988 and progressed up the ladder to become the Head of Operations at Malaysia LNG Sdn. Bhd. in 2011.
